Qpro is the Green Building Certification consultant for a luxury apartment spread over 15 acres in a metro city. We conducted an Energy Modelling analysis to measure and implement strategies to reduce the annual energy consumption for its phase 1 construction.

We recommended incorporating highly efficient glass with a U value per ECBC and ASHRAE's standards. We had several discussions with the client’s team to determine the optimum specifications. Upon conducting the simulation, the project showed a 15.16% reduction in annual energy consumption, dropping from 1,830,000 kWh to 1,545,000 kWh, which translates to a savings of approximately 285,000 kWh using energy-efficient systems. Lighting simulations indicate a 35% reduction in energy consumption for common areas, achieved through optimized lighting designs that balance efficiency with quality illumination.

Overall, the energy modeling results highlight the project’s energy efficiency, achieving notable reductions in total energy use and lighting consumption, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability.
