Integrating Lighting and People Management System for an Office
Qpro recently completed the design of an advanced lighting management system integrated with a people management system that is tailored for a modern commercial IT office building. The system enhances energy efficiency, improves occupant comfort, and ensures seamless functionality across various spaces.
We designed DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) lighting system for conference rooms. DALI technology provides precise control over lighting levels, enabling users to create the perfect ambiance for meetings and presentations. This system allows for individual luminaire control and scene setting, ensuring optimal lighting conditions while promoting energy savings.
In perimeter areas near glazing, daylight sensors have been strategically placed to maximize the use of natural light. These sensors detect the level of daylight entering the space and adjust artificial lighting accordingly. By harnessing daylight, the system reduces energy consumption during daytime hours and provides occupants with a comfortable, well-lit environment.
Integrating People Management System furter enhances the lighting system's efficiency. Occupancy sensors monitor movement within the building, automatically switching off lights in unoccupied areas and ensuring that lighting is only utilized when needed.
This combined approach reduces operational costs and aligns with sustainability goals, creating a smart and energy-efficient office space. The design demonstrates a commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility, making it a benchmark solution for modern commercial buildings.
